Height: 6’ 0”
Weight: 600 lbs.
Hair: None

Mutant Abilities:
Machine Man possesses vastly superior intellect that was programmed mostly by his father but augmented when the High Evolutionary reconstructed him. His arms and legs telescope out on flexible titanium extensions to great distances. Machine Man can fly through a revolutionary process known as ‘canceling gravity’ around his body, a feat never duplicated. He can emit stun beams from his eyes. His body also contains a number of scanners, communicators, translators and the like, and likely more weapons/features not yet seen.

Physical Description: Machine Man’s body is not that impressive. His creator made a very plain face that shows next to no emotion. His pupil-less eyes are blank and unreadable. His body shows signs that it’s supposed to simulate muscles, but it’s a half-hearted try. He walks stiffly and his voice sounds a little mechanical, not like the Human Torch who is a perfect replica of a human being.

Place of Birth: Unknown
Family: The only family Machine Man ever had was his ‘father’ Aaron Stack, who taught him what it was to be human and to care and to not hurt others. It was his father who sparked his insatiable curiosity as well as his sense of humor. Machine Man considers himself a part of X-Calibre and has strong emotional attachments to Robert Gibney, Rebecca Warren and the Horus Child.

History:
Machine Man was active in the world prior to the Apocalypse and lived a life devoted to others. At some point he was destroyed battling Apocalypse’s soldiers and when next he was aware he was in the sanctuary of the High Evolutionary on Wundagore Mountain. He spent 10 years with the Evolutionary learning about the prophecy of the Horus Child and the role that Robert Gibney and Rebecca Warren would play. He left Wundagore committed to the Evolutionary and made sure that Rebecca survived in New York until Robert arrived. When he did and Rebecca got pregnant, he made sure that she went to Wundagore while he went with Robert to Muir Island.

For the next year, he spent his time with X-Calibre and watching Bobby. Through many rough spots he continued his vigil, until it was time for the Horus to be born. Traveling with Robert and his fiancée, Danielle Smith, to Wundagore, Machine Man was on hand for the birth, and the disastrous end for Danielle. He cut off all ties to the Evolutionary, but still maintained the one secret about him, not telling Bobby even when he admitted everything else. With his best friend now hating him, Machine Man’s life of loneliness shall continue.
