Physical Description: Klaw generally does not stand completely upright, but more in a crouched attacking position. Her hair is long and covers her face much of the time. Her facial features are ‘normal’ but she has sharp fanglike teeth. She always wears a tight black suit that straps and buckles across her. Her hands are covered by the suit to hide the irreparable scarring from Sinister’s experiments on her claws. The claws that can be seen can be retracted and are covered with adamantium. Klaw’s boots buckle up to her calf muscles and have a good grip at the bottom.

History:
After Phenix was born, her mother quickly gave her away hoping that Bethany Mueller could keep her safe because of the influences she had as a 6 rated mutant. Phenix was never told the name of her real mother, but that her father is the X-Men’s Sabretooth. To this day, that is an unconfirmed rumor even though her last name is Creed.

Slowly through childhood, Phenix started to develop her mutant abilities completely. If the rumor was true, Phenix was in fact her father’s daughter. Bethany, Ebony and Phenix did much moving around the county to escape Apocalypse’s slaughters.

Phenix’s mother trained her much during her childhood, making her aware of how to use her observation skills and how to protect herself without having to kill others.

But not knowing how close they were to Sinister’s Pens caused them to lose each other. Sinister caught sight of her and believed her to be the next great experiment after what he was able to do with Weapon X.

By the age of 16, Phenix’s family was dead and she was one of Sinister’s experiments. Painfully, he made her claws retractable and adamantium laced. Harsh scars were left on her hands, and the trauma unlocked a hidden feral nature. For three years, Klaw (as they called her) started to lose her grasps on humanity. Nobody would help her or could help her.

At the age of 19, Sinister was dead, Apocalypse was dead, and the Pens were eliminated. Claw escaped and began a search for allies, but during this was captured by the Anti-Mutant humans. She was taken to Europe specifically to the Muir Island Sentinel factory. When Kristen Kross used her ability to shut down the Factory, Klaw was released and opted to stay on Muir Island.
