History:
The person known as Danielle Smith turned out to be nothing more than a programmed personality, and a key part of the biggest betrayal to Robert Gibney; both constructed by the hands of the High Evolutionary, a man who resides on the mythical Wundagore Mountain and performs experiments on animals by pushing them along the evolutionary ladder. They are his 'New Men'.

In order to self-fulfill history surrounding his birth, Lady Tigra was chosen to infiltrate the mutant team X-Calibre to watch over Bobby Gibney, his father, and protect him until his mother, Rebecca Warren had given birth to their child on Wundagore Mountain. It wasn't considered that the personality of Danielle Smith would fall in love with Bobby Gibney, and that like-wise Gibney would fall madly in love with her. Danielle and Gibney became nearly inseparable, even when they would go to New York City and meet for the first time Rebecca Warren, who had a past with Bobby.

Bobby was prepared to ask for Danielle's hand in marriage until it was known that Rebecca carried Bobby's child from another dimension (See Age of Vein), and was shortly due to give birth. Rebecca would go to Wundagore, leaving Bobby and Danielle to sort out events, and evaluate where they stand.

When it was time for Rebecca to give birth, Danielle went with Bobby to Wundagore Mountain where she met more people that looked like herself, and was confronted by another tiger man claiming to be her husband; while Bobby was inside attending to Rebecca.

Rebecca had struck a deal with the High Evolutionary, in return for giving her a place to give birth to her child and the chance to win Bobby's heart without any competition, she would have to use her telepathic powers to destroy the Danielle Smith personality and give dominance back to the body's natural personality of Lady Tigra.

Lady Tigra rejected Gibney, and proclaimed that her place was with her people on the mountain. Robert was crushed to learn about the death of Danielle Smith, and holds a serious grudge against the High Evolutionary, and against the mother of his child, Rebecca Warren.
